The seasons are changing

What a beautiful end of summer celebration today. Sometimes you don't even know how lucky you are until later. When we purchased our home, we knew we loved the quiet, family feel of the neighborhood but we never knew about all the other benefits we would find. Not only are we able to walk down to the local farmer's market each week for tasty pastries, fresh produce, coffees, and a sea of people wanting to pet Rosalind, but tonight we were able to watch the city fireworks celebrating Founders day from our back yard. Let's just say Rosalind enjoyed the farmers market more than the fireworks though!

I also finally finished updating one of our housewarming presents from our adoption BBQ. I added some LED strip lighting to our old reclaimed wood star for the patio. I love the look of it now!

We love being able to spend evenings out on the patio enjoying the cool breeze and a soothing bonfire with s'mores. We are both so excited to be able to share these amazing experiences with our Baby Hogg someday as well.

Roz also made some new friends today! These two were wandering around our yard looking for something tasty to snack on. Roz also learned these ladies run faster than she expected when she went to investigate!

All our love,
Seth and Shana
