Just a quick update tonight to bring some humor to this really difficult month. After her surgery on 9/5, Roz has been quick to find ways to nibble at those itchy bandages on her paw to the point where she's known as the "infamous Rosalind" at the emergency vet. After repeated efforts to find a way to keep her away from her bandages we've built what we lovingly refer to as the super cone. In actuality, it's three distinct e-collar layers of happiness that each on their own were defeated by Roz repeatedly. However, much like Captain Planet, when their powers combined so far they are strong enough to keep her in check.
Roz is also enjoying spending each day at our local vet office getting to see people all day rather than stay at home with the stinky cats. Unfortunately, due to complications from the surgery, this is how her life will go for the next month or so. At that time we will hopefully have a healed paw and a very relieved dog.
